On behalf of the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Talmage filed an amicus curiae brief in the U.S. Supreme Court. At issue are the Constitutional implications of the funding of defense counsel for death row defendants in post-conviction proceedings.

U.S. Supreme Court Adopts Talmage Newton’s Position on Warrantless Blood Draws
The U.S. Supreme Court adopts Talmage Newton’s position in favor of the Defendant and the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
